A great friend from Georgia Tech, Chris Octa, took our engagement pictures on a very hot day in Atlanta’s Piedmont Park. We rented a tandem bicycle from Skate Escape (riding this bike is harder than it looks) and explored some of our favorite areas of the park.

I also made a quilt for our pictures with our initials and wedding date embroidered onto the top. We had to have a nod to New Zealand with a stuffed Kiwi and various books such The Hobbit, Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire and my favorite, Gone with the Wind. :)
